Greensburg Tornado



























Friday night May 4th a F-5 Tornado hit the Kansas town of Greensburg. With winds up to 205 mph the tornado was estimated to be 1.7 miles in width and traveled for nearly 22 miles. Ninety-five percent of the city was confirmed to be destroyed, with the other five percent being severely damaged. Ten residents were killed in the storm. The survivors have relocated to nearby trailer parks or moved in with relatives.
